Terms & Conditions

Scheduling Your Design: I only book custom cover designs for clients who have paid their 50% deposit.

Please do not consider yourself scheduled until I receive your deposit.

Pre-Made covers, and all other products and services need to be paid in full. 

Re-Scheduling: To reschedule your design, you need to let us know within 14 days of your scheduled design slot. You can reschedule your design once Free of Charge. Additional re-sheduling may be charged, or subject to cancelation without a refund.

Pausing Your Design: Pausing your design at any point is possible. However you are required to pay the remaining balance on your cover design. I cannot resume work on your design before the balance is paid. Please do not pause your design for more than 3 months.

Timeline: Once the design process starts, bookings must be completed within 3 months. Please do not schedule a custom cover design unless you are ready to finish all files within 3 months. Projects that take longer than this are subject to additional fees or cancelations without a refund.

Cover Design Process: Clients will receive two cover drafts within 7 days of their scheduled design. Clients are asked to give feedback on the covers in order to create a final design that the client is happy with.

What Comes With Your Design? – What is included in custom packages is available to view Here. If you select the wrong package you are subject to additional fees if you require products that are not included in the purchased package.

Receiving Finished Files – During the design process, you will be sent drafts over email. Finished designs will be sent to you in a DropBox folder. You will be sent this folder after you have paid the remaining balance on your invoice.

At this time, raw files such as Photoshop or Illustrator files are not available. 

Communication: Due to high demand, all communication is done via email. I’m sorry but at this time I cannot accept phone calls, video chats, text messages, or voice memos.

Rush Fee: Clients receive their designs at the end of their scheduled design slot TBD at time of booking. To receive your designs sooner than this, clients are subject to a rush fee, which is calculated on a case-by-case basis.

Payment: All payments are made securely via PayPal invoices.

Refunds: A lot of time goes into designing a custom cover. Therefore all deposits are non refundable.

DUE TO COSTS INVOLVED. Pre-made covers & all other products & services are also not eligible for refunds.

Rights to Design: Clients do not own any rights to their designs until any outstanding balance has been paid in full.

By paying for the design, you retain all rights to the design in accordance with the Standard Image Licenses purchased by Lunar Blue Books from Adobe Stock, Depositphotos, Neo-stock and Shutterstock. You do not need consent or permission to use the design as described above in the Standard Image License.

Lunar Blue Books retains the right to display the design in their portfolio AFTER the design has been revealed to the public by the client.

Lunar Blue Books is not obligated to promote the design.
You have the right to use the design, but you are not obligated to do so.
You have the right to hire another designer for future books in the series.
Purchased designs cannot be resold.

Images Used in Design: Lunar Blue Books uses a combination of stock images, our own photos, and 3d rendering to create your cover designs. Information regarding Stock image Standard Image Licenses and their T&C’s can be found on the following websites. Adobe Stock, Deposit-photos, Neo-Stock, and Shutterstock.
